Tiny community farm in the city
Veggies, herbs, and flowers 🥬🌻
What We Grow
The urban farm includes a backyard garden, propagation greenhouse, production field for vegetables and cut flowers, tiny orchard with fruit trees and berries, native plants, mushrooms, and demonstration areas for backyard gardening, composting, and culinary arts. Each spring, we produce seedlings for sale (veggie and flower starts, perennial native plants, and herbs) and food crops for the Little Italy Farmers Market and East Side Pay-What-You-Can farm stands. We also offer a small seasonal flower subscription (a flower CSA), handmade winter wreaths, and floral design services for weddings and special celebrations. Some of our most popular crops include greens (collards, kale, chard), garlic, edible flowers, aronia berries, elderberries, hot peppers, heirloom tomatoes, eggplant, beans, peas, rhubarb, and okra.
